1,200 miles across Oregon and Northern California in the footsteps of Oregon’s famous Wolf OR-7.
Before watching this video, take a moment to think about Wolf OR-7’s dispersal. In your mind, what do you see? Do you think of a map, maybe with lines or data on it?
Wolf OR-7’s dispersal across Oregon and California unfolded across the land with mountains, forests, rivers, roads, fields, farms, small towns, dust, and open deserts. In an attempt to visualize Wolf OR-7’s dispersal in the way Wolf OR-7 experienced this, Jay Simpson photographed our Expedition Team’s forward direction throughout each day. Of the +4,000 images he collected, just over 700 images were used to create the time lapse above.
We’ve made this video available to you before it becomes publicly promoted as a special thank you to our KS Backers. We will share this video on social media later this week. Please share, comment, and like it to continue showing support for the Wolf OR-7 Expedition and expand the reach of our education and awareness materials. Together, we can promote human and wolf coexistence.
