I believe if he’s stopped being tracked it will have been a waste of time and money. An injustice will have been served on him and the likes. Not a wise move…with the numbers still to low to be removed from extension it would be beneficial to continue monitoring OR-7. With sickness, hunting and age all a death factor. Just to know what the lifespan of a free roaming wolf is would be a valid concern and cause to continue OR-7’s tracking. Our team is currently producing a documentary to share the story of Wolf OR-7, our expedition, and efforts for human-wolf coexistence. Check for more information on our website in the coming months as we complete our post-production. News outlets recently reported that Wolf OR-7 or his mate will be given a new GPS tracking collar, you can read more about it on our recent news roundup, or7expedition.org/wolf-or-7-news-roundup-new-gps-radio-collar-genetic-test-results-pack-designation/ Leave a Reply Cancel reply Notify me of new posts by email.
